About Us

Southern Winds Aviation (SWA) was established in 2006 as a helicopter operator and a broker of used and new aircrafts. Since then the company has added other services including aircraft leasing, charter services, heavy aircargo, private jet charters, airline charters and aircraft fractional ownership services. SWA is located on the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base in Plattsburgh, NY. The company maintains close ties with AA Baltimex Inc which specializes in economic development.
